On July 5, 2024, Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu summoned party caucus negotiations as an agent for the Constitutional Court debate. Despite discussions for nearly 2 hours, consensus was not reached among the three party caucuses. As a result, Han Kuo-yu announced that it would be processed as usual by the House meeting at 2:30 PM to continue with the remaining 5 cases. The Constitutional Court is set to hear the temporary injunction application on the revised Legislative Yuan's Exercise of Powers Act and Criminal Code passed by the Legislative Yuan on August 10, with oral arguments scheduled for August 6.
