The Executive Yuan has proposed a reconsideration of the parliamentary reform legislation, with a vote scheduled in the Legislative Yuan today. The blue and white camps have indicated they will reject the reconsideration, while the green camp is in support. The results of the vote are expected to be announced around noon. The proposal includes changes such as normalization of immediate responses during the President's state of the nation address, a penalty of up to NT$200,000 for contempt of parliament, and the authority to hold hearings and penalize individuals for providing false statements. The Legislative Yuan will proceed with the vote after addressing the reporting items agenda this morning.
