The parliamentary reform reconsideration motion was voted on in the Legislative Yuan, with the final vote results showing 62 votes against the reconsideration motion and 51 votes in favor, successfully blocking the motion by the blue and white camp. KMT legislator Hsieh Lung-chieh stated that what DPP is hiding will soon be revealed. Last month, the Legislative Yuan passed the 'Five Acts of Parliamentary Reform' after nearly four days of intense debate and defense, but the Executive Yuan filed a reconsideration motion citing reasons like 'difficult to implement'. After President Lai Ching-te approved it, the motion was sent to the Legislative Yuan, where both parties debated for two days before today's vote. Ultimately, with 62 votes against and 51 votes in favor of the motion, the opposition camp of KMT and PFP emerged as winners. Hsieh Lung-chieh expressed his doubts about DPP's actions during its eight years in power, questioning why they were obstructing the people's right to know the truth. He emphasized the importance of parliamentary reform for national transparency and thanked the support of the people in moving forward bravely.
