The parliamentary reform law took effect today, and the DPP caucus immediately applied for a constitutional interpretation at the Judicial Yuan, with other government institutions also planning to follow. KMT legislator Huang Jianhao expressed that the DPP, as the ruling party, should stop engaging in continuous political battles and instead focus on normalizing the country's operations. Huang emphasized that the reasons provided by the DPP for the constitutional interpretation do not align with the legislative process, and the reform aims to implement existing laws rather than being unconstitutional. He called for the DPP to prioritize addressing livelihood issues, fulfilling parliamentary hearings and presidential state of the nation reports commitments to ensure the country's smooth operation and discourage perpetual election-like political struggles.
