In Nantou, Taiwan, a student was scolded and kicked off a bus by a driver after reading the driver's name from the hanging nameplate upon boarding, leading the driver to get angry and refuse service. Witnesses captured the argument, with one describing the passenger as possibly a high school student who innocently pronounced the driver's name, causing the driver to point and scold. The incident sparked debate on whether it was reasonable for the driver to react so strongly to having his name called out, with the bus company stating the driver lost his temper due to repetitive name-calling. The company plans to review the incident through onboard footage and provide additional training for drivers.
