The layout of PCB industry factories in Thailand is set to land and start production, with companies like Unimicron (8039) opening a factory in May, and Tripod Technology Corporation (3715) estimating mass production in the fourth quarter. By the first half of 2025, the industry is expected to enter a peak of trial and mass production. Several major PCB manufacturers have clear schedules for trial production in Thailand, indicating a potential for a complete PCB industry cluster in two to three years. Companies such as Tripod Technology Corporation and Chin-Poon Industrial Co. Ltd. are expanding their investments in Thailand, expecting rapid maturity of the PCB industry in the country. The expansion is also seen as a strategic move considering investments in the PCB industry in Vietnam in recent years.
