In response to numerous controversies, engineer netizens in Hsinchu recently launched a recall movement named 'Recall Mayor Kao Hong-an: Ensuring Safety in the Wind City'. Initially, the 'Pen Grows Bookstore' agreed to assist with physical petition collection but refused to disclose related information publicly. However, post-initiation, the operation caused disruptions exceeding expectations and led to the store's decision to terminate collaboration with all recall petitions. The recall team also announced the cancellation of the site setup due to 'unexpected disturbances' faced by the store, aiming to quickly find an alternative location for residents to sign. Issues arose after the store's information was revealed, prompting the team to clarify their stance and officially end cooperation with recall petitions.
