The People's Party has established the National Governance Institute to cultivate talents and will hold a 2-day political class learning and exchange trip in Chiayi at the end of July, inviting individuals who support the party's reform ideas and are interested in understanding local organization operations to participate. Guest speakers include the party chairman Ko Wen-je, former legislators Lai Hsiang-ling and Chang Chih-lu, current legislators Lin Kuo-cheng and Chang Ching-kai, and they have also invited KMT legislator Hsieh Lung-chieh to co-teach. Ko Wen-je emphasizes the importance of nurturing talents for sustainable organizational development and aims to create a better Taiwan by discussing both local and national issues through various teaching methods.
