The persistent front will continue to linger over the northern waters from today until next Tuesday, with intermittent localized rain expected in the southwest. Meteorologist Wu Derong warns of the likelihood of intense afternoon convective developments. The weather is expected to remain hot and oppressive prior to rainfall, with the southwestern region seeing occasional localized heavy rain showers accompanied by thunder, strong winds, and heavy rain. Central Meteorological Bureau cautions about the threat of landslides, rockfalls, and debris flows due to accumulated rainfall in mountainous areas. Temperatures across different regions range from 24 to 36 degrees Celsius. The latest forecast shows the front still in the East China Sea from the 19th to 21st, with decreased convective intensity but ongoing observation is needed.
