Perstorp and Intel's Open IP Advanced Liquid Cooling Team Develops New Synthetic Cooling Fluid Application

Reported 7 months ago

Perstorp, a subsidiary of Malaysia's national petrochemical group PCG, known for chemical innovation, partners with Intel's Open IP advanced liquid cooling team to create a high-performance synthetic cooling fluid for data center immersion cooling. Displayed Gaudi 3 AI accelerator liquid-cooled cold plates at this year's COMPUTEX with Intel's SuperFluid Cooling Technology, providing efficient and safe cooling through Perstorp's advanced synthetic cooling fluid. The collaboration focuses on low viscosity, long life, excellent dielectric properties, and fire safety, offering a PFAS-Free, biodegradable, and potentially 100% renewable material-based low carbon product. This advanced cooling technology enhances heat dissipation capabilities, meeting the demands of future high-end AI chips as the industry invests in liquid cooling to achieve high-density deployments for AI applications.
