On June 27, 2024, at 5:25 a.m., Lianhe News Network reported that a 47-year-old male surnamed Dang in Taipei opened a pet shop in Neihu District in February, which faced difficulties in getting a business registration due to the second-floor owner's avoidance. Allegedly driven by debt pressure, Dang chose to end his life. The construction team that helped the second-floor resident with balcony repairs in exchange for an agreement paper turned from being assertive to apologetic. Issues arose among the parties involved, including accusations of lies, but the business clarified there was no employment relationship with the team from a Keelung construction company; they were merely industry friends.
