On June 27, 2024, in Taipei's Neihu District, a 47-year-old man surnamed Dang invested 5 million NT dollars to open a pet shop on Xingyun Street. Due to regulations requiring a signed consent form from neighbors, the shop owner could only sell pet supplies and not operate a pet hotel due to a refusal from a neighbor on the 2nd floor. The owner's lawyer friend, part of a group called 'Lawyer Bamul's Mixed Muffin Team', revealed on Facebook that the owner was very caring towards animals, even during difficult times. The owner had rescued 3 stray cats, despite facing economic pressures and even taking care of a rescued Husky that once bit him. The lawyer expressed sadness over the owner's passing, emphasizing the difficulties faced by those who care for stray animals.
