A recent report revealed that a pet shop owner in Neihu District, Taipei, passed away due to pressure from unpaid rent and wages as he struggled to obtain a business license to open his shop because residents upstairs refused to sign consent forms. Host Qian Yi disclosed on a program that there are very few legal stores in Taipei. He also advised on dealing with legalities and neighborly relations in opening and running shops in the city, mentioning the need for careful handling due to the scarcity of completely legal operations. Qian Yi further remarked that sometimes businesses in Taipei have to resort to a 'terrifying balance' if agreements cannot be reached.
