A pet store owner in Neihu District, Taipei, committed suicide due to the pressures of rent and salary. The second-floor tenant refused to sign an agreement because of concerns about allergies in the family and the lack of a promise for assistance with repairs. The store owner had spent nearly 5 million NTD in renovations but faced difficulties opening due to the second-floor tenant's disappearance after repairs, leading to financial strain and ultimately the owner's tragic decision. The tenant explained her side, expressing regrets over the situation and emphasizing the issues that prevented her from agreeing to the terms.
