In Taipei, a pet store owner surnamed Dang spent a million dollars renovating his shop in Neihu, but was unable to obtain a business registration due to one of the second-floor homeowners refusing to sign an agreement. Despite gaining approval from other neighbors, the second-floor homeowner demanded financial help with balcony repairs as a condition for signing. After Dang helped with the repairs, the second-floor homeowner disappeared, leading to financial struggles for Dang. Seeking help on the streets, Dang sadly passed away inside his pet store on June 26. Despite efforts from Taipei City Councilor He Meng-hua to mediate and find solutions, ultimately no resolution was reached, highlighting the challenges of business registration in the area.
