Francis Ford Coppola's utopian epic film "Megalopolis," which he financed with $120 million of his own money, stirred debate at Cannes while his former partner George Lucas celebrated his 80th birthday at Skywalker Ranch. Despite the contrasting paths they took in their careers, both filmmakers eventually became billionaires, with Coppola focusing on his expanding wine business and Lucas preparing to open his billion-dollar art museum in Hollywood called The Museum of Narrative Art.
