Brazil's state-run oil company, Petrobras, announced its decision to increase the gasoline prices for distributors by 7%, marking the first hike in almost a year. The company will also raise liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices. This move, welcomed by investors, is the first change in gasoline prices since the appointment of Magda Chambriard as CEO. These adjustments are expected to have an impact on the country's inflation rate, with a forecasted rise in IPCA to 4.28%.
