At PFL 4 2024, Tim Johnson and Danilo Marques engaged in a wild exchange before Johnson's first-round finish. In a memorable moment, Johnson landed a hard left hook while Marques simultaneously kicked him in the groin. Despite the setback, Johnson recovered and eventually won the fight with a series of punches to Marques' head, earning a maximum of six points in the PFL standings.
