The annual celebration of the Philippines Independence Day will take place on June 16th at Banqiao Gymnasium in New Taipei City. The event includes basketball games, cheerleading competitions, performances by Filipino bands and artists, and the participation of officials such as New Taipei Mayor Hou You-yi and Philippine Representative to Taiwan Silvestre H. Bello III. Activities also feature a friendly basketball match between New Taipei City Labor Department and the Philippine Economic and Cultural Office staff, along with booths for migrant worker legal information, free T-shirts, Filipino cuisine, free haircuts, and massage services, as well as raffle activities for the public to win prizes. Everyone is welcome to join this vibrant celebration of the Philippines' Independence Day!
