A major power outage occurred in the Pingtung City area at 9:20 am on June 19th, affecting 1165 households due to a voltage regulator malfunction. Taipower Pingtung District explained that areas like Guangdong Road, Zhongshan Road, Ziyou Road, Taiyuan Road, and Chongde Road experienced a blackout at 7:41 pm, affecting a total of 1165 households. Emergency repairs were conducted, with power restored to 90% by 8:21 pm, while 62 households were still undergoing repairs.
