Pixar's Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter has shut down the idea of a live-action remake of 'Ratatouille,' as well as any other Pixar film, stating his preference for original and unique movies. Docter explained that the rules of the animated world in Pixar films do not easily translate into live-action, making a CGI talking rat challenging to create. Instead of focusing on remakes, Pixar aims to expand its film slate with more sequels and original content, despite facing challenges with both approaches.
