The community Effort Orlando (CEO) fighting game esports event recently concluded with an unexpected incident during the Mortal Kombat 1 competition. Player Rez Dyloch, in his excitement after winning the championship, threw a chair behind him which ended up damaging expensive lights belonging to the organizers. With the prize money being insufficient to cover the damages, Rez Dyloch had to pay an additional 80,000 New Taiwan dollars out of his own pocket. This incident led to the CEO founder and CEO, Alex Jebailey, publicly condemning such behavior and issuing a warning that such actions will not be tolerated in future events.
