Polestar's CEO, Michael Lohscheller, has expressed concerns over 'serious' tariff obstacles that could limit product availability as the company faces high tariffs on its electric vehicles (EVs) imported from China. While Polestar has begun local production in the U.S. with the Polestar 3, the 100% tariffs significantly impact its sales of the Polestar 2 and could complicate the launch of future models like the Polestar 5. Despite these challenges, the company aims for a 30-35% revenue growth in 2025 and plans to introduce a new affordable compact SUV, the Polestar 7, by 2027.
