Hakan Samuelsson, the chairman of Polestar Automotive Holding UK, is stepping down as part of a board reshuffle amidst operational challenges and declining stock prices. The current director, Winfried Vahland, will replace Samuelsson. Polestar has also proposed new directors, Christine Gorjanc and Xiaojie Shen, as board members. The company has been facing difficulties since its New York listing, including slower production ramp-up and decreased demand for EVs, leading to a 69% decrease in share price this year.
