Police and Inspectors Collaborate to Crack Down on Noisy Vehicles, Ensuring Peaceful Living for Xizhi Residents

On June 21, the Xizhi District residents in New Taipei City, Taiwan have been disturbed by the noise from modified vehicles during late hours, impacting their sleep. In response to multiple complaints, the Xizhi Police Station collaborated with Keelung Vehicle Inspection Office to conduct a thorough inspection operation on June 21st from 9pm to the next day at 1am. They set up checkpoints in areas where noisy vehicles frequent, inspected and cracked down on illegally modified vehicles, and issued fines for various violations. This joint effort aims to address noise pollution and ensure a peaceful living environment for the residents.
