Police Arrest Doll Machine Thief in Shulin Forest and Transfer to District Prosecutors for Investigation

In Shulin District, New Taipei City, a theft case involving doll machines was cracked by the police. After receiving reports of multiple theft cases involving damaged coin boxes from doll machines, the police established a special task force and arrested a 34-year-old suspect named Tsai. Tsai used tools like pliers and crowbars to break open coin boxes and obtained over 30,000 NT dollars. Upon searching Tsai's residence, the police found stolen goods, crime tools, and drugs, leading to Tsai's arrest. He was involved in stealing motorcycle license plates, locks, and mirrors as well. The police cautioned doll machine operators to ensure proper surveillance and consider installing more secure locks to reduce theft risks.
