On June 13, 2024, at 12:41 a.m., the police confiscated 1 Beretta M93R submachine gun, 1 Taurus pistol, 1 mobile phone, and surveillance equipment as evidence in their raid in Yilan, Taiwan. Zhongshan and Zhongzheng Second Police Stations, under the command of Taipei District Prosecutors Office, uncovered a drug trafficking group in Greater Taipei, arresting 3 suspects and seizing 1 submachine gun and 1 modified handgun. The police units in Taipei acted under the guidance of Taipei District Prosecutors Office to intercept the drug ring. The group was found packaging and distributing various drugs in dense residential areas, using vehicles as storage and operating a drug delivery service to make large profits. The arrested suspects were held for violating gun and drug control laws and delivered to Taipei District Prosecutors Office for further investigation and detention as ordered by the court.
