Taipei City police cracked down on a firearms case when investigating a drug trafficking group in the Yilan area, unexpectedly encountering a group member testing guns nearby. They traced the suspects to their hiding place and successfully arrested 3 suspects, seizing firearms. The group was found to be packaging and distributing various drugs in a densely populated residential area, using vehicles as storage for drugs and employing a 24-hour delivery service for drug sales. Following evidence collection, the police executed a search warrant in Yilan, apprehending 3 suspects and confiscating weapons and other related items. The suspects were detained and face charges according to the Firearms and Ammunition Control Law.
