Taipei City's Wenshan Second Sub-Bureau police officers Chen Junhong and Dai Xiangyun recently intercepted a motorcyclist driving on the riverside path in violation and under the influence of alcohol. The motorist, Mr. Zhou, admitted to his high alcohol level due to heartbreak. With a BAC level far above the legal limit, he was charged with endangering the public and brought to justice. Despite the majority of citizens enjoying the friendly space of Riverside Park for leisure and exercise, a minority take risks by driving illegally on the bicycle path, impacting public safety significantly. The police urge citizens to make use of designated driving, taxi calling, or chauffeur services, emphasizing the dangers of driving under the influence or on the riverside path.
