In response to the 2024 Keelung Chaojing Bay Festival, the Keelung City Police Department's Women and Children's Police Team set up booths at the Bitou Fishing Port on June 23 to advocate for preventing adult and child pornography and enhancing internet safety. The event included promoting safety measures for children using the internet during summer vacation to prevent scams and the sharing of intimate photos. The event also featured sailboat experiences, remote-controlled sailboats, SUP experiences, and canoe experiences, along with local food markets, allowing attendees to learn more about local culture in Keelung. The Women and Children's Police Team aimed to prevent various crimes against women and children, engage with the public, promote anti-crime awareness, and provide tips to prevent online scams and abductions.
