Keelung District Prosecutors' Office is investigating a police officer, a team leader surnamed Zhou from the Keelung City Police Youth Squad, for allegedly protecting a KTV establishment that recruited illegal foreign female companions and even soliciting assistance from squad members. After receiving a tip-off, the prosecutors' office conducted searches at the youth squad offices and other locations, bringing in Zhou, a detective surnamed Liu, operators, and female companions for questioning. Efforts include raids at related KTV establishments by the police, with the possibility of additional officers being involved according to the prosecutors. The Keelung City Police Bureau stated that they had relevant information in March, and they are cooperating fully with the investigation under the Prosecutors' command without favoritism.
