Police Officer Brave Actions at Gas Station to Extinguish Fire on Volkswagen Beetle after Refueling in Taiwan

In Changhua County, a police patrol car unexpectedly caught fire in the police station parking lot, while in Taichung, a citizen's Volkswagen Beetle caught fire at a gas station after refueling. The patrol officer arrived at the scene within a minute of receiving the report and immediately rushed to the car with a fire extinguisher to help extinguish the fire. The 2004 Volkswagen Beetle, nearly twenty years old, was driven by a 24-year-old woman who escaped safely before the flames spread. Firefighters ultimately arrived to fully extinguish the fire. Additionally, a detective vehicle in Changhua also caught fire, luckily discovered and reported promptly by security personnel, with both incidents under investigation for the cause of the fire.
