A 30-year-old police officer surnamed Wang from the Yonghe Police Sub-Station tragically fell from a 5-meter high embankment in New Taipei City's Sanchong District. Wang's father, deeply saddened by the loss of his son, tearfully expressed that the family's ancestral legacy had been cut off. Investigations revealed that Wang took a wrong route of 500 meters instead of the correct 150 meters to catch a ride home after a gathering, resulting in the fatal fall.
