A police officer surnamed Lin from the Sanxia Police Station in New Taipei City fell to his death while hiking at Yuan Mountain Park on June 13. His family reported him missing, prompting a search by colleagues, who eventually located his body in a ravine 5 meters deep. Sadly, he showed no signs of life. The police are assisting the family with funeral arrangements, while the exact circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
