On the night of June 23rd, police executed a search warrant in a building on Zhongshan Road in Banqiao, arresting 17 individuals and seizing drugs including heroin and methamphetamine. During the raid, suspects threw an assault rifle to a building across the street, which was noticed by vigilant officers. The operation was initiated based on community reports of suspected illegal gambling and drug use. The suspects, including wanted individuals for fraud and drug offenses, were taken into custody and will face legal action.
