Hsinchu County police recently cracked down on a drug case, arresting a drug dealer hiding in a residence in Hsinchu, seizing a large quantity of drugs. The suspect's girlfriend was left shocked and confused as she woke up to find police arresting her boyfriend by the bed, wearing only underpants. The suspect, surnamed Chen, was believed to be in possession of a large amount of drugs and was apprehended by police while asleep in bed, which included ecstasy, ketamine, nimetazepam, and methamphetamine. Chen was subsequently arrested on drug charges. Police seized a total of 2.5 kilograms of new types of drugs and evidence of criminal gains, including NT$287,000 in cash and a money counting machine, urging the public to report any suspicious or illegal activities to help create drug-free cities.
