Taipei City police went to Sun Anzuo's residence for a search on June 19, with agent Zhu Yiming present, suspected of obstructing official duties. Firearms, knives, and black powdery substances suspected to be gunpowder were confiscated. Sun Anzuo was transferred to the Taipei District Prosecutors' Office in the evening. Zhu Yiming was also arrested on the spot for alleged obstruction of official duties and violating the firearms, ammunition, and knives control regulations. He claimed in an interview that he did not assault the police and was demonized by the authorities without violating any laws.
