On June 18, 2024, the Zhongshan police in Taipei seized a modified gun, parts of a firearm, mobile phones, second and third level drugs, and over NT$50,000 in drug proceeds as evidence. The police traced a drug trafficking group, leading to the arrest of two suspects including one involved in a 'drug lovebird' case, and the confiscation of weapons. The Zhongshan police emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards drugs and vowed to continue efforts to eliminate drug-related hazards, dismantle trafficking groups, and ensure public safety.
