A recent poll by the New Taiwan Thinktank of the Kaitagalan Foundation revealed that President Lai Ching-te's satisfaction rating after one month in office is at 56%, while Premier Cho Rong-tai's rating is at 53%. Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Wu ranks the highest in department leader satisfaction, while Minister of Digital Development Huang Yen-nan ranks the lowest, and Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu ranks third from last. The survey, conducted on June 15 and 16 with 1089 valid samples, shows preferences are higher among residents in southern Taiwan, males, those aged 40 and above, and individuals with a primary education or below.
