The Taipei City Fire Department is holding fire camps and firefighter experience camps from July 2 to July 19, where students can explore urban disaster prevention knowledge in collaboration with TOMICA. Activities include 'Fire Camp-Disaster Exploration' for elementary school students and 'Firefighter Camp-Firefighting Unboxing Let’s Go' for middle and high school students, providing a summer experience combined with disaster prevention learning. The event features TOMICA world models and a disaster prevention park scene to enhance understanding of urban disaster concepts. Participants also engage in activities like promoting giving way to emergency vehicles, symbolizing students harvesting disaster prevention treasures and embarking on a series of disaster prevention learning experiences. The activities aim to instill disaster prevention concepts from a young age, encourage teamwork and mutual assistance, and empower each student as a disaster prevention warrior.
