Deputy Mayor Li Sichuan mentioned that there is a possibility for concerts to be held at the Taipei Dome in the second half of the year. Taipei City Council's KMT caucus Secretary-General Zhang Sigan proposed to confirm with the city government whether the Taipei Dome hosting non-sporting events falls under certain building regulations, but the issue was deferred due to objections from the DPP caucus. Deputy Mayor Li expressed that the city government aims for consensus and plans to send a letter to the Ministry of the Interior in early July, potentially allowing concerts in the second half of the year.
