Postal Service modernization plan paused in 2024

Reported 5 months ago

The U.S. Postal Service, as announced by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, is halting some initiatives of its modernization plan for the remainder of 2024. This decision follows reviews of mail-processing facilities. Despite DeJoy's confidence in the Delivering for America plan to transform the agency's future, certain changes have been temporarily put on hold in response to reviews, with efforts focused on operational efficiency and regional center creation.
