British triathlete Beth Potter won bronze at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Cagliari, finishing seven seconds behind the winner Cassandre Beaugrand. Four British athletes finished in the top 10, with Potter securing her spot in the Team GB squad at the Paris Olympics. Fellow Olympic hopefuls Georgia Taylor-Smith and Sophie Coldwell finished sixth and seventh respectively, boosting their chances of qualifying for Paris.
