On June 18, 2024, at 12:59 am, a sudden power outage occurred in the Neihu Science Park. Taipower stated that at 11:18 am, a feeder line trip caused 655 households in Neihu District of Taipei City, including Jiangnan Street, Yangguang Street, Ruiguang Road, Ruihu Street, to lose power. After emergency repairs, over 50% (347 households) had power restored within 3 minutes, over 85% (564 households) by 12:09 pm, and full restoration was achieved by 12:26 pm. Taipower attributed the outage to a feeder line trip at 11:18 am.
