A power outage occurred in the Neihu Technology Park in Taipei causing concerns, especially for the impact on the tech industry. The president of the Neihu Development Association mentioned that as most of the businesses in Neihu are headquarters without air conditioning, there is no significant impact on the industry. However, heavy electricity stocks rose following the outage. While the outage affected about 655 households, the issue was quickly resolved by Taiwan Power Company. Despite not being a power shortage, the incident triggered a surge in heavy electricity stocks.
