In the evening of July 5th, a power outage occurred in Xizhi District, New Taipei City, affecting 4,212 households in areas like Zhangshu Road, Gongjian Road, and Shanguang Village. Some residents were trapped in elevators. Taiwan Power Company received the outage report at 5:58 pm and restored power by 6:54 pm. The outage was caused by equipment failure at Nan'gang Substation, affecting 4,212 households. Taiwan Power Company will enhance inspections to prevent similar incidents in the future.
