Investigation revealed that the message originated from a company in Shanghai, China. Former legislator Su Zhifen reported this to the Yunlin District Prosecutors Office, and current legislators Liu Jianguo and Cai Yiyu urged a thorough investigation to uncover the masterminds. They emphasized the importance of national security. Meetings have been held to address the issue and track down the source of the phone numbers receiving the messages within the country.
