Precise Life-saving - Da Vinci Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery Reaches Over 100 Cases

Medical advancements are always welcomed, and the Taichung Children's Hospital has been leading the way with the introduction of the Da Vinci Surgical System in 2012 and the establishment of two fourth-generation Da Vinci systems in 2021. Under the guidance of Deputy Dean of Cardiac Surgery, Zheng Bozhi, with over 30 years of experience and around 520 Da Vinci cardiac surgeries performed, the hospital's cardiac surgical team has continuously innovated and successfully performed over 100 cases of Da Vinci minimally invasive cardiac surgeries. A 29-year-old patient shared her recovery journey at an event held by the hospital, expressing gratitude towards the medical team. Deputy Dean Zheng highlighted the benefits of minimally invasive heart surgeries, urging patients not to fear and emphasizing the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality medical services with the Da Vinci system.
