Legislator Hsu Chih-chieh mentioned that the blue and white camp's base has shrunk, so green legislators are not worried about being recalled. After the blue and white alliance passed the parliamentary empowerment bill in the Legislative Yuan, there have been doubts and online movements to recall blue camp members, prompting blue camp members to plan retaliatory recalls of green camp members like Wu Suyao and Wu Peiyi. Hsu predicted potential outcomes and highlighted that the green legislators who won in the three-way race are experienced, and with the shrinking support base of the blue and white camp, green legislators are confident about not facing recalls. If successful in recalling six blue camp members and winning all DPP by-elections next year, DPP could secure 57 seats and become the largest party in the parliament.
