A 32-year-old pregnant Indonesian woman passed away after undergoing a surgical procedure for induced abortion at a clinic in Wanhua District, Taipei. Despite efforts to save her, including a call to emergency services, she was declared dead upon arrival at Mackay Memorial Hospital. The cause of her sudden decline and death is under investigation by the authorities, with the woman having arrived in Taiwan legally as a caregiver and living with her boyfriend who accompanied her to the clinic.
